And just to get it out the way before we get wise comments about beans, gas etc I am referring to meteorological wind
A quick question for all those that have satellite dishes and DSTV. Do you lose signal repeatedly whenever there is a fairly strong wind blowing? And I do not mean gale force here I just mean when the wind gets up. We'll lose picture for a little while, or briefly get the message saying signal was lost or get a brief freezing of the picture with "blocks".
Our dish is on top of a building so obviously it is fairly exposed to the elements but I was just wondering if it is normal or if we should look at moving the dish to another side perhaps. Is there anything else to do? It just makes watching DSTV when the wind is up a little frustrating... especially when Angelina Jolie is busy unbuttoning her top and it freezes!
