dstv doesn't have rights to shows?

when streaming the food channel (arguably the best channel on dstv), do any of you also get the "dstv doesn't have the rights to this show" black screen? i've asked them on twitter and it seems like they either don't believe me or they don't care.

it happens roughly every 15 or so minutes, so it's pretty irritating, especially when they have that money shot of the roasted lamb. *drools*

My Girlfriend goes crazy about this issue and I didn’t understand why, I then got into watching the food channel with her and yeah it’s damm annoying, specially as it always seems to happen right at that chopped moment

what if we contact whoever deals with media rights violations? technically, if they don't have the rights to any of the shows and they're illegally broadcasting the shows...

Have you tried watching any of the Food Channels on Youtube, far superior to Food Network IMO
