Now if DSTV had offered me that option for R75 a month I would have subscribed to the F1 as that is ALL i want

I'm very happy with F1TV.
I get the odd buffer here and there, but if you just leave video quality on auto, and don't force 1080p then it momentarily just ramps down to 480p if there's an issue, then returns to 1080p without stopping and buffering.
Monza was a little flaky that way, but all races before that have been excellent.
Oh cool, so they dont charge you per season?
Instead a rolling 12 months?
Correct.

Excellent
Yeah I noticed the same buffering issues with DSTV a few years back, just leave it on Auto and it will do its thing and yes the quality goes down when it is busy but it never once was an issue.
Thanx for this

They use the Sky commentary, so sadly you'll still have to endure Crofty...

If I can watch every premier league game and the occasional motogp and F1, and it costs me less a month then why not

New Flex has potential, but the non-soccer sports are far from attractive with it, just a small "savings".

They need to allow lower cost multiple choice aspects for sport, else it won't work.

Here's what I posted in the other Flex thread about the sport. Comments?

Back to sport.

1. Rugby
2. Cricket
3. Golf
4. Tennis
5. Motorsport
6a-d. Variety 1-4
7. Action
8. ESPN 2
@ extra R349 pm
Nope. Rather;
Choice of 1 or 2
Two of 3, 4 and 5
Don't need the 6's or 7 or 8
For that may pay extra R225, if 1 AND 2 then maybe worth R275.

Yes?

Also needs appropriate access to ch. 201 Grandstand for when there's more than one important match on for a particular sport.

Mods are unpaid volunteers and have been since the beginning. While rpm et al regularly ask their own questions any thread I start, including these polls, are 100% mine.
Are you allowed to accept tips? (bribes)

It's "Here's cool things about DStv, ghaais" season on MyBB.

Hope you take the money anyways, @bwana?
Next generation of smart advertising.. let them make money. It is their right.
I won't say anything to piss off the sp****rs but I will say that the product is not worth my time or my money.
