DSTV now: error loading video license user not entitled

Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

The backstory.
Can't find DSTV now on the app store, on my phone or my MiBox.
When I google it in my browser I can find it, but it says it's not available in my country.
After some trickery I get it to install on both devices, and verify its the latest version.

Now my phone and the MiBox say "error loading video license user not entitled", whenever I try play something.
If I load the DSTV now website on my laptop it says "this channel is not available on your package" when I try play something.

That would be logical, but I'm afraid not.

To answer my own question in case anyone in the future searches for this.

It seems I just needed to wait a day for whatever information to propagate through the DSTV systems.
A day after I posted the error messages resolved themselves.
