Is there a workaround to getting DSTV Now to work on a rooted phone. Using a Note 3.

Why would DSTV block this, what difference dies it make to them.

There's no control over a rooted device, you can find ways to circumvent their copyright restriction when rooted. Content providers probably require they not let content play on such devices yes it's stupid as people are still able to strip DRM and post any content online for piracy.

I had a similar thread a few weeks back. I installed Hide Rooting Lite from the Play Store and it now works.

I have tried it, and many other apps to hide root from DSTV Now with now success.

DSTV and SHowmax don't like rooted devices. And their definition of a rooted device is their trade secret.

They are scared you may be able to access their content and distribute it. HELLO!!! Everything they have in their catalogue has been ripped to death, watched, rewatched and deleted from hard disks long before they even thought about airing it.
