DStv sports and film rights under fire

It burns my butt paying DSTV but reality is they buy these sports packages.

South Africans however want everything for nothing. Soon they will want the decoders for free as well. Before long they will be striking against the content.

Solution is if the Govt want people to have access to certain events, they can pay for it.
 
I heard some of the Naspers board members fell ill after hearing this news.

Most of them have been diagnosed with "EXCESSIVE LAUGHTER".

Correction, Guavament does not pay, we the taxpayers pay.

That's all.It doesn't matter what exclusive agreement dstv or whoever has, if that sport event falls into a certain protected category it has to be fta, and others delayed.

This is the reason other countrie can see the olympics for free...its a protected event in those countries.

Lovely! So in other words, in a country of mostly poor people the poor just keep on being rogered by these multi-nationals in a never ending cycle of super profiteering.I don't care what's said hereon just bring back the sports to the people.

That's what JustAsk is proposing - FTA = free to air.
 
All national team sports, be it soccer, rugby, cricket or anything else, should be free-to-air... DSTV can have to other stuff like S15, FA Cup and the rest!

This would be perfect, the masses get their national sports and DSTV can keep their "Premium Programming"
