So if Telkom offer media over ADSL, will the ADSL still be "best effort"?

Well that graph basically shows that I am totally screwed with regards to what I require and what I don't have.

May as well give up on broadband totally. Maybe in 10 years time.

I wish that 10Mbps gave 10Mbps, in reality it gives 6Mbps, see
http://speedtest.mybroadband.co.za/stats/connection/adsl10m
Then the FUP kicks in and you are down to 10%.

Most ADSL customers are still on 2Mbps & 4Mbps as 10Mbps is too expensive.

My 10meg works at 10Meg. Get a proper ISP.
On my line, I get 95% of what I pay for, so I've got a proper ISP.
The overall average for everybody's 10Mbps is 6Mbps.
How you suggest these people get their 6Mbps to 9.5Mbps?

The problem is that Telkom has been slow in upgrading exchanges.
Most exchanges are still 4Mbps max.

Content media would most likely get prioritized.
Not happening now, why should it happen in the futures?
Vimeo, Netflix, Youtube, etc don't get any special treatment.
Hell even DSTV BoxOffice & SuperSuport on MWEB does not get any special treatment.
