Poll please. :)

This is why I don't own a tv. I love the freedom of choice on my PC. And I really don't miss the lame adds about insurance. :p

I find it morally wrong to support a monopoly that cripples our industry.

WinterX games are fairly easy to find online..
Assuming that you're talking about "normal" sports. I don't watch it. There's way too much to do around my place. :)

well, then you are lucky, for us rugby/cricket/soccer/tennis/cycling watching people, we only have one choice...

Driving from stadium to stadium like a crazed fan? :D:p

Perhaps you've stumbled onto a good idea. Host games/matches online to download (as our bandwith size doesn't support streaming)

that won't work, there something about seeing it "live" (on tv)... dunno, maybe just me... but i can't watch the game after the fact.

and i'm sure monochoice will have a hissy fit if you record "their" games, and host it online!

I have no moral issue, I just think DSTV is a massive rip-off! So is M-web.

If I had moral issues... then I would also have a problem with downloading off the Internet... but I don't (I'm waiting for the Content Providers to get more of their crap online and I will support them there).

I buy DVDs and Games when they are reasonably priced. I support Ster Kinekor (albeit with discount from Discovery), but I don't buy their food.

I am a scrooge... the only thing I splurge on is bandwidth. ;)

it is unfortunate but us sport loving people only have one option, I would love to drop dstv as all they ever has is crap on, i wish they would introduce a sports only bouquet with reduced subs, i could quite easily live without FTV, Cartoon network, Disney, actionx and quite a few others

you also run the risk of stumbling upon a result no matter how hard you try to avoid it
