No...? What is fibre 100?
I paid R3700 and got a new dish and everything. But it seems I cannot sign into Netflix using my sisters username and password with the new dish and decoder machine?

Try plugging it into your internet connection first, and then try again.

100/100 fiber, is 100Mbps up, 100Mbps up connection.

DStv's big Netflix deal is here - What it means for South Africans

MultiChoice CEO Calvo Mawela has shed light on DStv's new partnership with Netflix.

DStv launched its new Explora Ultra decoder on Thursday 12 November, which includes a built-in Netflix app and the ability to add your Netflix subscription cost to your DStv bill.
Multichoice keeps on taking the SA for fools. They overcharge us now this government's competition commission allows them to market other services. I don't why Netflix, Prime or others should collaborate with them. I will retain my separate subscriptions because I want nothing to do with a company that keeps on milking the consumer.

Only 2 sports? Not a real addict fan.
yeah, I'll watch an interesting cricket/rugby/soccer match if the opportunity comes around, but won't care if I miss it

I only put in an effort to watch racing, a bunch of decent championships even stream their races live on Youtube for free, if I couldn't get F1 & MotoGP free too I'd probably stop watching F1 and start paying for MotoGP

For any of their subscribers that aren't sports fans, this is in some ways a potentially risky move in the longer term...

When they see what sort of content they can get access to over their internet connection for R150pm (give or take), they may lose more subscribers...

The end is nigh for Dstv - seriously!! More and more subscribers are cancelling their premier packages. The only thing that is keeping Dstv alive is Supersport. What happened to all the talk of providing a streaming only service and doing away with set-top boxes?

Seriously, enough already on your Explora devices, everyone is streaming, thanks to vigorous roll out of Fibre. Dstv.... Please, pretty please, get in with today and give what the subscribers want, a real affordable streaming service (just like Netflix)!

I bought this decoder yesterday from Pep and am struggling to stream Netflix via this decoder via the satellite dish. Any help? I'm on Compact.
Please share some info about the decoder . I heard there’s a new Interface, can you share pictures of that too. I’d love to see

What gets me with the new decoders, from the 3A and now the Ultra, is that there is no RF out. Now unless I am missing something here, this means if I were to change my decoder setup, I would need a decoder at each TV, I have 7 TV's in my house serviced by 3 decoders. So the cost to upgrade is now not only the decoder but I presume cabling in the house has to change, as a direct cable from the dish to decoder is needed.

This is why I will be using Google Chromecasts on my TV's for netflix etc and keep my decoder setup as is.

And as previously mentioned, without the sport DSTV would be a thing of the past. I would gladly pay for a upgraded DSTV setup if they could deliver sport in 4K which they cannot even on the new Ultra.

It's been one decoder per viewing environment since the days of the Explora 1. If you want to service more TVs you can use HDMI splitters.

Hmm strange that, I have the explorer model 2A's running in my house and all of them have RF out. On the Explore 3A "2" falls away.

I use the RF out to a splitter to the TV's around the house. Each decoder on a different frequency allowing for watching of any decoder on any TV.

Yes and what that does is to simply duplicate the picture. You aren't getting an extra viewing environment. It's not technically correct that you now need to have 7 decoders. Your setup is quite a unique one that's using old tech that's no longer supported and is just an unnecessary expense for everyone else.

So what does he needs to achieve the same using the new, and thus supposedly better, tech?

HDMI to RF converter. And it isn't about being better or not. We don't continue to support outdated tech because 1% of people like to use it.
