DStv Premium smashes global sports streaming rivals

Subscribing to a combination of legal international sports streaming services that could provide a similar selection of sports as DStv Premium will cost over double the South African service's price.

In addition, some of these international services will require complex workarounds that might carry additional costs.

BBC iPlayer have lost of sports for free...

Using a vpn or smart dns is really not that complex...

VPN's tend to drop your speed too much, unless you have a fast, internet connection, with stable latency. SmartDNS does not cause slow downs. Getting a fast stable DNS server source, also helps.

They are also POS that will charge you extra to watch big live event they can get ****ed

All I said was they had good quality channels ...

But yeah, you seem to be the type that I would not be able to trust, with the dog, as it would not trust you, and bite you. Then I would sit with medical bills.

Thing is, I don't want to watch all the sport. I want to watch rugby and that's it. Got a bit bored of F1 (doesn't help that I'm an Alpine supporter) so I cancelled F1 TV.

Just rugby. Give me a way to pay R150 or so per month just to watch rugby and I'll pay it.

Dstv can get bent. How about offering a sports only package for R500 pm? It'll never happen, but an article on what a hypothetical sports only option and its costs would be interesting.
