DTT HW problems or Transmission problems

Hi all DTT users,

I struggled for a really long time to get my DTT set-up working. I am using a Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2205 on a Windows machine. I was using it exclusively with the DVB-T2 tuners active and the analogue tuners "disabled". I started to realize some time back that it missed a lot of recordings. I was using Media Portal. I then switched to Windows MCE and I started to realize that I am not receiving any more the DTT signal (Neither Media Portal, nor MCE are now able to find any DTT channels, even though both recognizes the DVB tuners on the card). That was also why the Media Portal recordings failed.

The PC still recognizes all the tuners, but I have no other way to determine if the DTT tuners somehow broke, or if the DTT signal is off.

Any suggestions?

Was it missing all the recordings, or were there any that it was still getting?

I don't know what the problem is but I'm also interested in the answer. I'll try to help troubleshoot as best I can, but I do hope someone knowledgeable spots this thread and weighs in.
