I have had a xtraview connection for 3 years now: explora as primary and hdpvr as secondary. Worked fine. It uses a explora switch with lnb with 2 inputs to IS20 h/l and v/l. 2 outputs to hdpvr and unicable output A to explora.
Now bought an explora 2 to replace hdpvr. Removed hdpvr and connected explora to unicable B. The LED on the switch flickers every now and again and gives E48-32 error (signal strength issue). Checked the signal and it shows 76% - should be 95% according to DSTV. When second explora is plugged in, I get this behaviour. When I unplug the 2nd explora, the 1st explora is fine (after checking it also has 76% signal strength). The LED is stable with only a single explora.
Note that when i put the hdpvr back, its signal strength is 98% (bearing in mind that it uses 2 different outputs from the switch).
Where do you suggest I look:
* LNB
* cable from LNB
* ???
