Hi guys,
Ive search high and low and still cannot find an adequate solution for this. Im quite new to linux so please excuse me if this is common knowledge.
I installed Ubuntu 10.10 on my macbook yesterday and am using an external monitor as well. The laptop has an Nvidia card and initially upon installing I foudn that I could not drag windows from one display to the other. I am using the latest Nvidia drivers. In the Xorg.conf file, both are detected as LCD screens (not CRT) which is correct.
I then enabled Xinerama which allowed me dragging windows from 1 display to another, BUT I would like to set my external monitor as my main monitor and cannot find how I can do this?
Infact, I wouldnt mind if my laptop monitor wasnt used at all as I dont look at it, but I havent found a way of doing this.
