Let me know if I am wrong here, but this is how I understand it:
All 3G or HSDPA phones can transfer data whilst on a phone call (as long as the phone is connected to the 3G network obviously) but not on GPRS/EDGE.
This is where DTM comes in. With a DTM phone it can also transfer data whilst on a call (when the phone is connected to the 2G (GPRS/EDGE) network).
Is this right?
