DURBAN – An alleged criminal ended up with a bullet in his leg after his latest robbery did not quite go as planned.

Kyle van Reenen, spokesperson for Emer-G-Med, said a motorist was parked at an intersection in the Durban CBD when he was accosted by a group of men.

I don't want to throw the babies out with the bathwater, but when do one trust an iol article and when not. :sneaky:
Pun intended?

Short is probably honest. When the journalist is Piet, probably not, since you mentioned the babies. For the rest, flip a coin and use your instincts.

How does someone just open your car door like that?

Car doors automatically lock whilst one is driving...I have to press 12 buttons to unlock my doors when the kids get to the car with me sitting in it waiting outside the school ffs...
My current car has all the bells and whistles but the doors do not auto-lock while driving.

I've never heard of anything like that. It is a very standard application in vehicles...even quite old ones.

Maybe check your manual and see if it is something that has to be enabled.
Jip, @Milano check the manual. Most cars on the road auto locks once you set off or get to a certain speed.
If it's an older car where it was installed afterwards, well then just press the lock button once in the car and ready to set off to what ever destination you are heading in.
