OR...here's a thought: lock your doors manually while driving around ANY city in South Africa.
So why does your exception to the rule apply in this case AND supersede all the evidence to the contrary?
You're just here to argue obviously...
Some are programmable. My current car has all the bells and whistles but the doors do not auto-lock while driving.
Your 2010 civic just needs it programmed in. I had to do that on my 2009 civic.Lol. Okay then. My 2010 Civic doesn't have it- and it's the top spec model in the line, it has all of the other features available for that car at the time.
Just because YOUR car does have a feature doesn't mean you get to dismiss everyone else out of hand.
Not the case with small Chevrolets and some standard bare bone bakkies. At least the ones I've driven.I've never heard of anything like that. It is a very standard application in vehicles...even quite old ones.
Maybe check your manual and see if it is something that has to be enabled.
From all accounts, even the guys in the UK and Europe haven't managed to do that , how did you, and where?Your 2010 civic just needs it programmed in. I had to do that on my 2009 civic.
Followed some guide on the web somewhere and it worked... But it was about 4 years ago that I did it.From all accounts, even the guys in the UK and Europe haven't managed to do that , how did you, and where?
We're talking real CARS here.....Not the case with small Chevrolets and some standard bare bone bakkies. At least the ones I've driven.
Many maybe's now crawling out the woodwork. Maybe there is an intersection near his house, but he was parked inside his garage? They say he was “parked at an intersection”, so maybe he was simply parallel parked near an intersection and hadn’t actually started up as yet? Auto locks tend to trigger when you’re moving at above a set speed.
Impossible @MightyQuin studied the scene as well as every vehicle ever manufacturedThey say he was “parked at an intersection”, so maybe he was simply parallel parked near an intersection and hadn’t actually started up as yet? Auto locks tend to trigger when you’re moving at above a set speed.

Should have been a better shot and got him in the head.
2021 Suzuki Vitara Brezza GLX / Toyota Urban Cruiser - any pointers would be great. What car is that? I've had 4 cars in 15 years that all have auto-lock doors, sure my Clio I had to set that up, are you sure you just don't need to do that?
