So we where told that there where some kind of an interference from the sun on the IS satelites therefore we would get reasonable speed on IS from 18 September.

Well, it's 19 September and speeds still look dismal. What's the next excuse or will we hear the true story?

I looked outside and I noticed a breeze, so I figure it must be the wind blowing the information away from the sattelites dishes.

Simply put, the problem is IS. I'm starting to think that they are worse then telkom but their power to screw the consumer is limited.

I've been able to manage 20-30Kb/s for a while now. Quite happy; since there's no alternative and it amounts to 30GB download's worth of "international" content.

ROFL

I couldn't believe my eyes when I read the title for this thread! We used to tell our boss that, whenever something happened that we couldn't (be bothered to) explain... :D

I got tired of the incomplete posts so I bought myself a 2GB block account for $2 from http://usenet-news.net/index1.php?url=get these guys. And now that specific episode is flying.

The nice thing about these guys is that the account works like WA prepaid so I will not loose my remaining MB at the end of the month.

Agg I just wanted to try the thing out. They also had 20GB for $10. Next Time I will do something like that. Here are there prices.
2 GB $ 2.00
5 GB $ 3.00
10 GB $ 5.00
20 GB $ 10.00
30 GB $ 14.00
50 GB $ 20.00
100 GB $ 32.00
200 GB $ 62.00
300 GB $ 92.00

If you ask me thats not bad. Do the easynews accounts expire? Or can I pay a once of ammount for certain amount of gigs?

They also have unmeterred accounts for $15 a month.
