If I had an if for every if

if a truck paid R1.50 per gantry
Make the trucks pay! Why punish the operators?

Wow logic just escapes this dimwitted buffoons. Of course the companies are going to put their prices up when an extra expense comes in and obviously the companies are going to pass on that expense with profit attached.

It is also not just one truck per item.
The truck delivering the wheat the mill is going to get charged.
The truck taking the flour to the bakery is going to get charged
The truck delivering the bread to the warehouses are going to get charged
The truck delivering the bread from the warehouse to the shops are also going to get charged

Just as a stupid example.

And before that even,
truck that delivers to the farmer
seed
fertilizer
fuel for the farm machinery

All the small amounts add up, nickel and dimed to death.

Yeah like the car rental companies making a profit on e-toll fees, immoral but hey .. not caused by e-tolls at all.

No idee of the consequences of their actions.

As if any business in the supply line will just absorb the costs and not pass it on to the consumers. And I thought it was illegal to smoke that stuff in SA.
