E-tv taking Minister to court to delay South Africa's digital TV migration

The CEO of eMedia has nothing to do with the distribution of the top boxes for poor households

I have helped a poor household do their registration a long time ago already, and since then no response has been received.

To date, just over 1.18 million households have registered for a free set-top box.

Of these, 556,954 have already received set-top boxes from the government.

Slow...

If I was this Oke I would just keep quiet coz SABC has 3 channels of kak.
And there are millions of daily viewers.
They are gonna suffer worse than ETV I reckon

Also, I couldn't give a hoot about these set top boxes. Don't want one, don't need one. We only stream or watch Blu-Rays!

So typical of the SA Government...

We will do X, and fsck the consequences because the other program we have had going for the last decade to resolve that problem is 15 years behind schedule.

Post Office hands them out for free if you're poorer than me
