E620 not working on myCompac Evo N1050v

Hi all
My E620 datacard not working not working on myCompac Evo N1050v.....The green light does not even light up......any ideas

You say no light? how old is the data card, has it worked before with this laptop, have you tried the data card in another laptop, have you tried another data card in this laptop?

The data card is 6 months old,and it worked before with this laptop, I havent tried it on anoter laptop but it works on my desktop

If it works on the Desktop we can establish that its not the sim or the device. Have you tried un-installing and re-installing the software on the laptop?

yip did uninstall it but still no light on the card

I just found out it is not faulty.It worked and then it stopped again.I looked in the event viewer and this is what I got.....
