E65 - weird behavior - advice required:

My wife has an E65. It is about 1 month old.

Every now and then it won't hang up a call. The person on the other end hangs up but it keeps the call open.

The contacts button occasionally doesn't work. You can get to contacts via the menu options but the button won't work till you restart the phone.

Any ideas for what to do?

Try update the firmware. If that doesn't work send it in for repairs.

Back up all the info try a master reset, *#7370# then 12345.
If theres still a problem send it in for repairs.

she is probably stuck with the 1.0633.18.01 firmware version, which has been causing a lot of problems for users of the phone, type *#0000# in the standby screen to check the phone's software version, and you should probably consider updating it. The latest version in SA is 2.0633.65.01. Back up all the phone's data first though.
