I think I speak for a LOT of people here, when I say that all we really wanna see are the RTX3060's going for 5k or less :sneaky:
also keep an eye out for the 6700XT. They are going for very cheap overseas now. Faster and cheaper that 3060's

They have some annoying firmware issues (wakeup and variable brightness) that make them difficulty to use as monitors. That and the UI burn-in that you need to avoid.

For gaming they are fine, but in windows they are a bit of a pain.

Did anyone see that Takealot has a "Black owned businesses" category as of today... Absolutely ridiculous... How far this racist BS go
Was there a white owners section?

I'm thinking of buying the 55sud/c9300(Depending which one us on sale) Would u recommend skyworth?
They're fine as TV's.
Suggest go look at one in person, to make sure that the panel is a decent IPS one, as they don't state what panels they use in their materials for each tv.

Also have a play with the UI. Should be standard android 10 though, which is ok for now. Also check what widevine version is installed, as Netflix can be problematic.

Be aware that at some point, you will need to get a tv box to use with it, much like *any* smart tv from any brand, as the os built into the tv gradually gets out of date, and you can't use your apps.

Just make sure it plays netflix in 1080p or above. Should do, but best to check. You can go to a physical store that has one, and look, then buy online with ebucks.

I've pulled the trigger on this (SUD) yesterday, very happy so far. I have an Ematic Android box, so the interface is familiar. So far, everything just works. I have it connected to a Marantz amp with surround sound, and can say that the sound coming from that (even though the system is 10+ years old) is much better than the standard TV speakers. Apart from that, I am still very happy. Apparently it has a 5 year warranty on everything not covered by insurance (screen cracks and power surges).

If possible, take this route - Game has a price match policy, with which they match the price and give discount of 10% of the difference. Game has it listed for R8299 at the moment. Esquire has it listed for R6299. Therefore, I paid R6100, which is the best I could find for it, and incredible bang for buck.

Oh, and the main reason for my purchase is that Hisense's native VIDAA OS is a horrible piece of donkey excrement that cannot play Disney+, 6 months after the launch.
