Oh the IQ map, so many flaws in using averages, I can't even begin to express.
But Africa does have a huge education gap, so I'm hardly surprised.

The questions asked in the one I did in school was pretty abstract, unless you can read, write and reason in the language the test is conveyed in, good luck.
Only when I was an adult did I realize how silly many of the questions were.

IIRC they used very literal meanings of words to convey concepts like transitive closures and test if you realize the principle and etc.
But unless you understood the literal meaning of the word as such, it was pointless even asking.

Pointless test IMO.

The interesting part is, when the tests where given to Africans, every liberal on Earth shouted "It is unfair". The test is pointless. It was made by Europeans for Europeans. And the Europeans kept quiet. But then the liberals wanted to prove their point, so they took the "pointless" IQ tests to rural Chinese, Koreans and Japanese. Everyone expected the results to be even worse than the African results were. After all, because of colonialism, the Africans where more accustomed with the European way of doing things.
Guess what. The results were not worse. Not only they were not worse but they showed that the tests were not biased. Since than the liberals have gone fairly quiet. Now and then you get a bright spark though.

But aren't the Chinese going to save Africa or something? Seems they are just good friends when there are minerals to be had.

Everyone is a good friend when there are minerals to be had, not just the Chinese.

No. The Chinese ambassador to South Africa just recently went public in the media confirming that they stopped the loan that would have been paid to Eskom back in April. They no longer have faith in South Africa. He also confirmed that fewer private Chinese companies would invest in future in SA. So, South Africa is basically f***ed. Not sure what is happening in Zim though, but it seems the Chinese shunned them too.

Just imagine earning R600 a month while there is hyperinflation in the country. It is like earning R2.24 a month in South Africa today. This is what we Saffers need to get used to when this clever government changes the constitution to allow EWC, implement the NHI and appropriating pension funds, investments and the likes.
