Friendly against Griquas in PE on Wednesday... a group of us from the pub are planning a "cruise". :D

Do the Kings have cheerleaders?

EDIT: specifically female ones and not MickeyD et al in drag.

IIRC they are just not allowed to have more than two internationals in the match day group of 22.

Will have to confirm but I'm 99% sure it is in the final squad. Not match day teams.

If a foreign player gets injured they are allowed to bring another into the squad. But overall only 2 allowed in the 30-man squad.

Although I am laughing about it a bit it does remain sad. They are in for a hiding of note in the SuperRugby.

Either way I will always support them against the NZ and AUS teams. No Cape Crusader mentality from me.

Don't expect too much from the biggest disgrace in SA rugby! This S15 season will see a 100% increase in the worst points difference since the competition started.

At least the rest of our teams can look forward to 2 x bonus point wins...that's a good thing, not?

Agreed. Will be behind them 100%.

I'm scared for them though.

They desperately needed to get some of that home grown talent back in the eastern cape.

What concerns me is their physical well being. The Super 15 is a brutal competition and we not playing darts here. Stick a boxer in the ring for 14 consecutive bouts against a bigger, stronger and fitter opponent and you will see irreparable damage.

I'm in no ways trying to undermine their effort before it has even started but competing at this level when you not equipped to do so could result in more than just damaged egos.

...but it isn't a great advert for South African rugby.

Agree & will hope for the best for the team. Hoping that they can prove us all wrong.

The Kings will help South African rugby tremendously. It will help the other South African teams to reach the top of the log easier. :D
