I bought 8 tickets for this week's match, can't wait for it. Luke still needs to pass a fitness test later this week.

He's seeing a specialist but as far as I can tell there's little chance of him starting. I'd like to see it happen even if it means having to fix my code replacements.

It's going to be a long day - EP Kings play the Pampas XV ahead of the Southern Kings vs Sharks match.

I was really hoping that some kind of last minute deal would have been struck. At least NMB Stadium has gotten some new sponsors.

Well it's never too late. You never know what can happen. ;) :)

The Herald puts the deal at R6 million for the season. Grinaker-LTA were also the Southern Kings sponsor for the British and Irish Lions tour match back in 2009. Grinaker-LTA is a part of the Aveng Group, and were also involved in building NMB Stadium.

12-21

Not a bad game. We didn't conceed a try, and 9 points isn't a trashing by a long shot. The defence was decent, and besides the scrums, we weren't shown up anywhere.

The EP Kings drew 20 all with the Pampas XV in the Vodacom Cup.

About Daniel Adongo, Rugby365, are not very clear, but I assume that he is a permanent resident. His Wiki article, says that he has been in SA for 5 years, which is long enough to be a permanent resident. He could even apply to be a citizen, as Kenya now allows dual citizenship.
