Finished the tax recon and tried to submit.
Getting a failure on every new employee that doesn't have an ETI deduction:
"Employment Tax Incentive (ETI) not supplied - code 4118"
I imported payroll data from VIP Payroll Classic.
On checking the certificates inside Easyfile, the tick on ETI for these new employees is causing the error.
I opened the import file in csv and see that there is a field 3026 with data "X" for the correct ETI employees. Not sure why Easyfile is denoting all new employees as ETI employees, and then the 4118 incentive field is absent, sees it as an error.
If it was a case of one or two people I would edit it inside Easyfile. I have hundreds with this scenario as we have contract staff running from January to December each year.
Any ideas?
