Hi

Im not sure if anyone else is experiencing this but I seem to have lost my 1000 reward level points after taking a device with FNB for this very reason only about 2 months before the rule change.
Had I known this would be the case I would have probably not take the contract neither.

I understand that the rules can change but surely it changes only for people signing up new contract deals now people who are already in a contract with FNB this is a form of breach as I understand it perhaps?

Regards,

Same here. I've written to them twice about it and have had no reply.

Im not sure if the plan is to change the rules @ebucks as you go along because I can surely remember confirming this rule and it was confirmed I would receive my points for the remainder of the contract. It is not fair to do this to customers. Im waiting on more feedback but in the interim I was nicely pointed to the following

https://www.ebucks.com/web/eBucks/legal/termsandconditions/#CONSUMERREWARDSGENERAL

Been told Feedback takes 5 to 7 days it is Friday past was my 7th day. They are clearly thinking wisely about the decision they make on this one. I hope they make the right decision.

Hi,

I signed up for a smart device a month before the rules change. And I'm still getting my 1000 points.

How can you be sure if you go to the calculator or the how I got this link everyone should see the new rules which would not contain the device points. Have they telephonically confirmed that you get this points?

What account do you have with them?
Private Wealth account holders still get the points for devices taken out before the new rules applied.
I confirmed this with my Private Banker and I am getting the points every month

I'm on platinum and not getting it anymore per the calculator.

Since the new rules I've jumped from lvl3 to lvl5. Ive only ever gotten 18000pts since July and included has been the 1000pts for the smart device.

Yip, same experience for me. I took my smart device ages ago. When i saw the rule change for 1 July 2015, i called specifically for that rule and FNB ebucks confirmed that I will receive my RL points until my contract runs its course. Guess what, no points since the rule change. I called them. Even gave them all my ref numbers and told them to listen to my call recordings. FNB ebucks deny any of the calls were for the smart device RL points. So now the confirmation on this issue is a figment of my imagination according to FNB ebucks. Not withstanding the poor service and no call backs on issues raised with the ebucks call center. Only after telling them, you never call me back and getting upset, did they respond with acceptable response times. Now my next step is to ask them to listen to the calls myself because ebucks can send me the recording of my own damn voice. Bunch of idiots. Next step hellopeter.....

Strange im on a private client account but i was platinum when this happened. Regardless both pvt and plat received the benefit before 1 july and signed a contract on the basis so find it strange they only maintain the rule for gold.
