ECC Memory question

Quick Question. Does ECC memory work like normal memory when plugged into a standard motherboard?

Depends what you mean by standard motherboard supersunbird. ECC, is error correction checking, most "standard" motherboards support ECC, it just has to be enabled in the BIOS, so I would say yes, it works like normal non ECC memory.
