So I’m currently issued through MUA executive but a friend told me about Echelon.

I asked my broker and he said it’s about the same and seemed reluctant to explore the santam option.

There is not much info on the website.

Anyone with experience with Echelon ?

/edit
Sorry. Not Santa but Santam. Darn autocorrect

Can mods edit please

They both very similar in products and client base and target market.
Both have good reputations.

We're with Echelon. Haven't had to claim yet, but very professional, and there are some nice bits in the policy (covering things like cellphones as part of the normal insurance, not having to name them specifically).

You won't go wrong with either if you're a good client, but I would choose Echelon to MUA (Santam vs Telesure/Auto&General) just to avoid any "Telesure" related issues.

Maybe explore Discovery Insure "Purple" as well?

Do you have to have separate all risks cover to get cellphone cover ?

Our all risks cover is part of the policy, though listed as a separate item in the policy.

So all risks is included in the main policy/premium. Most other insurers are a separate add on
