Hi,

Noticed there we guys pulling uplinks cables in the estate on Tuesday.
All I know is that its for fibre internet and nothing else.

Anyone have any info?

I asked the guys and received telkom notification...it it indeed a fibre

As of 8am this morning the guys were busy working in the manhole in Onyx.

Looks like this is how far they got yesterday.

Just an FYI or anyone who comes across this.
The fibre is live and is working in most complexes.

Currently on 100meg. With Axxess

Got an email yesterday from HOA stating that the whole estate is looking to get Netstream to install fibre so that the estate can get CCTV and new access control. (visitor and residence)

They are saying we will get:
"Free smart open access dark fibre installation during the first year to each unit."
"Option to install Smart water and electricity meters"

All this without financial implication. (this is why Netstream was chosen)

Anyone heard/used these guys before?
I looked online and the only ISP I could find was CISP although their mail said "MWeb, Vodacom, Afrihost, Vox Telecoms, Wirulink, Cell C….and many more.":
