Sign up with GoogleI have just moved to a small, but growing village - Geluksburg - Near Bergville - KZN. The closest cell tower (OPPERMANSKRAAL) is about 10km away, and only just manage to get a GPRS connection.
Does MTN know about growing villages, as there are 3 established Hotels/B&Bs in the village, as well as a quite a few recent property purchases, and would assume that a tower closer to the village should be erected.
I also notice that there are towers 15-20km away in the middle of nowhere that have EDGE enabled, but the towers closer to Bergville and Geluksburg only have GPRS. Are there any plans for EDGE to be rolled out in this area? (There is obviously no hope of 3G coming here!)
