Hello guys,
Edge Telecoms want to take over the fibre infrastructure in our estate with the intention of it ultimately being handed over to Vodocam as an open access network. But, there is zero information on Edge Telecoms out there and through searching this forum I can't find any actual information on Vodacom running an open access network. They have their own closed network at expensive rates and they seem to provide ISP services on a few other networks (e.g. Vumatel) but no actual information on any Vodacom backed open access network. The only info out there is Vodacom intending to open up some of their network or allowing other parties to resell services on Vodacom's network but nothing that actually appears to be open access to me.
Does anyone here have any experience with Vodacom actually providing an open access network or any of the ISPs out there actually providing services on a Vodacom Open Access Network?
