The day comes when a white-skinned president is ever elected, it will be a Russian, or the nation made peace with its diverse brothers and sisters, which won't be any time soon. The barriers in this country are too thick to be broken down in a century, whilst it is being supported by radical laws, regulations and policy whether public or private. This is the identity-era.
Then again, they just have to wait for 27 top black executives to decline the position before they're forced ask the whitey again, worked for De Ruyter didn't it?

Actually if we get to the point where there isnt a majority and there is a genuine battle for president, I don't think it would be a bad idea to give that young politician from the IFP a shot.

  1. Comes accross well in parliment
  2. Young enough to be in touch with the youth
  3. Old enough to seemingly have the respect of his elder peers
  4. Neutral in the whole racial stances
Not sure of his name though. Thoughts?

*edit* Not sure its this one but I recall the gent having "peppercorn" hair. If it was, he passed away last year

You are talking about the SCOPA guy, and for some reason I also can't remember his name even though I know him well. I did not have a problem with him until that Eskom saga with Busi Mavuso.

To be honest, he is too close to Mangosuthu Buthelezi, I am afraid of what he has learnt from him, especially te dictatorial tendencies. I would give him a pass.

The thing is , as a coallition president, he wouldn't have the power to enact extremes, thats why I say it would be better compromise..... which in the end is what politics is all about.

I wonder if there are any good and capable MPs who are being overshadowed by the loudmouths, most of the MPs are so ill mannered that I can't think of an MP and not see Lindiwe Zulu or some other similar type screaming point of order.

Agreed EFF vowed to never work with the ANC now look where we are. DA won't win especially not with Zille still in their ranks, wish there was a new party that looked at addressing SA problems not just blaming other p[political parties.
Zille is the sole reason why the DA is still in the fight.

She is the head of the team that negotiates all the coalition governments.

And she spearheaded the purge of woke retard from the party.
And people don't believe me.

She really would, and the sheep that brought her out of retirement would vote for her, they would create stories about John taking the party towards the wrong direction, all John's smallernyana skeletons will come tumbling out and he would be banished back to KZN, then two weeks later he would join Beaumont at ActionSA.

Then Zille would rule over us with an iron fist forever and refuse to die no matter how much we beg.

All politicians are fscking sour.

If there isn't an outright majority, the question is who will get the backing to be elected president.

ANC: Maybe some smaller corrupt parties like ATM and EFF will back them for a majority.
EFF: Nobody will back Malema.
DA: VF+, ACDP and all the usual suspects will back them. Won't be enough for a majority.
VF+: Nobody will back them.
Action SA: EFF, UDM, DA (as contentious as their relationship might be) and some smaller parties

So it comes down to whether you prefer the EFF going into coalition with the ANC or ASA...
This is if ASA can grow enough from now to 2024. They have already started with infighting and cozying up to the EFF.
