I think 16 is the minimum legal age for sex - male and female.

The Cook Islands - m/m sex is illegal while f/f sex is ok for 16 and up.

Spain - 13 years is ok for m/f, m/m and f/f sex - :eek:

Cyprus - males 13yrs, females 17 years ! 17 for same gender sex except for ' the north ' where no m/m bonking is permitted.. :confused:

In Papua New Guinea aand Tonga, anal sex is illegal in all cases.


While in Queensland...

the legal age of consent for anal intercourse is 18 (regardless of gender), while for vaginal intercourse it is 16.

What a funny world we live in.

Don't know how to explain this one;-

In the US Military, same gender sex is illegal.

In the US South Carolina allows same gender sex for boys of 14 and girls of 16

Yet, if you are a US citizen outside of the US boys can have sex ( same gender as well ) at the age of 12 - with this proviso:-

It is illegal for an American citizen or resident to have sex in another country with someone aged under 16, unless the age difference is less than 4 years, in which case the minimum age is 12.

I think the last part is to protect against paedophiles travelling to other countries etc.

Younger sex = more abortions = more wasted tax payers money.

Girls under 16 should just not be allowed to shaft full stop. Guys is different, I think 13 or 14 is ok I dunno? At least they don't get pregnant...

Edit: That sounded dodgy hehe, for guys it can maybe be younger but with nobody older than a few years maybe 2 or 3 yrs?

With STD's like AIDS, this is rather narrow-minded remark, because in this day n age, getting pregnant is a milder consequence of under-age sex

Aids is not so much an issue here but pregnancies are, I can take a walk on my lunch and will see at least 2 pregnant girls no more than 14yrs old so yeh I guess its a geographically formed mindset really.

Well an irresponsible and un-informed 13yo girl is most likely to get pregnant. An irresponsible and un-informed 13yo boy is not likely to have a chance to make that mistake with a girl who's a lot maturer and wiser. Well thats my logic, if its failed then I'll go and bake a cake hehe

You misquoted me, I said it was no so much an issue.

Compared to Africa, the aids rate in UK is a drop in the ocean. More people die here everyday from knife crimes than from aids, and thats not a lot.

At 13yrs of age, I don't think anyone can make such a mature decision, male or female.
As I said earlier, I have a 15yr old girl in my building who's pregnant... According to you, she should be wiser & better informed

I guess I'm gonna have to agree to disagree with you here.
