Yes.. But that is a different issue in some ways from police with criminal records continuing to be employed in general.

Source to prove that EMPD's are not on fixed term contract? I thought everyone already knew they aren't?

Coming to civil servants, mostly people who are employed on fixed term contracts are DGs, Deputy DGs and and other senior posts, goes without saying that those are fewer than ordinary employees.

So the contracts look permanent, you get in and you never leave until you pension or die in service.

That's even worse having them still employed.
If they had and then joined because as usual the checks and balances were not used by the anc that's totally wrong and they obviously lied on a application as well.
But to be employed and the get a criminal record and still be employed that is a total fvck up and also a typical anc sh1tshow.

As I said, I was answering a question asked and not saying its a good thing or a bad thing.

But since you got so excited, tell me what the DA has done about the metro cops with criminal records where they govern, have they all been dismissed?

There really is no comparing DA to ANC.

“But look at DA doing X”

Dude, seriously. DA are not in charge of the country. The ANC is and anyone with eyesight can see the destruction they’ve done.

I am with the DA get rid of that 250 cops and screen the rest again.

EMPDs have nothing to do with who is in charge of the country, they are entities of the metros.

Now what has the DA done about metro cops with criminal records where the govern?

Remember when the DA said they'd fire that cop when they took over, so the ANC quickly gave him a long term contract....
 
what surprises me is its so open, and despite the ANC promise of not hiring anybody with a criminal record, they go and do something like this.
sickening really, this is what our tax money pays for, Criminals wearing police uniforms, and taking bribes from criminals to look the other way.

I mean I knew they were useless before this, but this is a new level of uselessness

what next? they give police escort to CIT robbers?

Let's see them first get rid of the cops with a criminal record where they govern, I can't think of a better way for them to say, "I am not a hypocrite, I practice what I preach".

People should hold the DA to a higher standard.
They should have fired these guys the first week they took over the metro.
 
Degenerate cANCer will always be on the side of degenerate criminals.
