I updated: never really had issues with all previous OS releases, but I've been caught, PoP emails all missing, gmail ok.
So far one app not working : Boom 1.94...but not using laptop just checked mail and Rss feeds.

A friend says he cannot eject mounted items from desktop.
OOPS!!
I thought all the public betas would have caught all this!

Have had no issues with the above: POP mail coming in as usual; no problem ejecting attached external drives (both RPM and SSD).

Update: Mail issue remained, got them back with a bit of work, same for Boom.
The eject bug is a non event, friend thinks he turned it off with Onyx a day earlier.
Otherwise all seems ok.

Wurilink ...
On a farm and cant have any telkom cables ... they only last a few days before they taken.
The problem is the connection is so unstable that i get to about 4 gig and then it looses connection and when i start up again it is not resuming but starting form scratch , I recon i must have downloaded about 13gigs of El Capitan already.

wonder if a torrent would work as that would resume where i left off... found on but not sure if i want to trust a OS form a torrent site

I head to mac store in 4ways and see if they can put it on a Thumb drive for me.

@dh_za it may only appear to be re-downloading the whole +-6.3 G, I only had 2Gig on my CellC on my phone: I hot spotted and took +- 400 mb, went to sleep when woke up got the rest on my new month of LTE cap,+- 45 min and done, but used DiskMaker to get it on a flash drive before starting the actual installation.
