Hi

Who will be able to assist us with monitoring the electricity consumption of two buildings over a period of 7 days?

We need to do this in order to determine a proper spec for a PV system.

TIA

Can possibly help you out there. we have a bunch of meters that we provide on a rental basis to customers, that are looking for a more accurate reading for their needs and sizing the system. You more than welcome to drop me with a pm to get the ball rolling.

Thanks.

I will get back to you guys, but we first will have to secure the outside front DB as it is not secured, and I do not want the hassle of stolen or lost equipment.

Basically, the electrical diagram is like this :

muni ---- main CB ---- generator DB ---- sub CB --- then here it splits up into two CB's, one for the front building and one for the rear building

All 3 phase.

In the buildings, the phases is then split up, one for lights, one for plugs, one for aircons etc.

No worries, but in the buildings is there no DB inside? or is everything done on the outside DB?

The buildings all have a DB inside.

What is funny, is that the rear building do have an electrical meter, but the front one does not. :/

Arranged for new locks on the doors, and maintenance says that they have a meter reader which can be hooked on our wifi LAN, so that part is sorted as we'll be able to monitor usage ourselves then. Will be a good thing so that we can compare what we used against what we're getting billed for.

Thanks for being willing to help guys, appreciate the good gesture!
