Focusing on profitable market demanded products while dropping redundant lines. Streamlining inventory and outsourcing reputable logistics.
This is the only way companies are going to survive. But it’s logical, and I wish I could earn like their top salaries for a concept that is a no brainier.

The last time I was at their head office on Johannesburg, the place was a mess, and the staff totally unhelpful.

When Early Bird went down Ellie's lost a lot of guaranteed business. We had standing monthly replenishment orders for spares. Triplers for example and BUW11A transistors for Sony 191/192 mod circuit. We kept the Sony's going.

Screenvision also battling without Early Bird support. All our regunned CRT tubes were supplied by Screenvision. Times were good than.

We never threw sets away. We maintained them for our contract customers. Customers, staff and suppliers were all happy. Was a win win situation for all

My best years were spent at Early Bird starting out as a driver and ending up as a branch manager at various branches. We had loads of fun and kept customers happy whilst doing it. Work is a breeze if you have fun doing it :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
