Lol.... 600,000 democrats, liberals, socialists and communists on the platform. Things could perhaps work out for them there. We will keep Twitter,.

My bad, I don't use the term regularly. I also often referred to the movie Die Hard in the afrikaans terms, until I realised it was english.
I have to be quite honest I had never seen it written down before and had to google:ROFL: But from my limited Italian I did know donna is woman

Whether they will just go back to Twitter is unknown: In ages past, Digg thought that would happen to them when they massively changed things one day and users got all upset. Who can say that they use Digg now?
I recall using Digg, but for me, I think it was just more SM that killed it than anything else as the news I just started getting off of Facebook and such.

I've been using Mastodon daily for the last few years - you see what you follow - so you don't see who you don't follow. It's up to you to decide what stuff you want in your feed as no-one is shoving anything in the feed. I have a few hundred interesting people I interact with, and my follower count there will soon be surpassing my Twitter followers. Also, good to see more South Africans joining this last week. But to be discovered you need to use hashtags and interact with others otherwise you'll have an empty feed.

I did an overview video about Mastodon a while back at
. And a series of about 15+ videos on other alternative social networks at
. They all have their own followings and cultures and all still thrive today, apart from YouMe Social and of course G+.

Similar thing happened a few years back with WhatsApp privacy and encryption issues due to Facebook ownership...

Everyone "started" switching over to signal, telegram and the likes...

Did not last very long... most people reverted to WhatsApp after a while as it was too inconvenient to change...

Twitter users flock to Mastodon after Elon Musk takeover

Social media platform Mastodon has seen immense user growth since Elon Musk's takeover of Twitter, with the network saying it gained around 230,000 users in the last week, BBC News reports.

The jump brought its subscriber count to 655,000 users, and while many Twitter users concerned with the platform's future moved across to Mastodon, it works quite differently.
No they don't "flock to Mastodon" stop posting kak.
