Musk asks Twitter users to vote on amnesty for suspended accounts

Twitter CEO Elon Musk has asked the platform's users to vote on whether it should offer general amnesty to suspended accounts.

However, Musk specified that it would only be granted provided they have not broken any laws or spammed on the platform.

Twitter — under the helm of Jack Dorsey at the time — said it decided to ban Trump “due to the risk of further incitement of violence.”

I'm not a fan of Trump, but to ban a US president for life... Should have been a 3 month suspension.

In terms of a general amnesty - a lot of these bans were just woke mob run riot - eg Jordan Peterson, Babylon Bee, etc

I see that Musk is considering releasing internal Twitter records exposing the reason for the Hunter Biden laptop suppression - that's going to be fun as that could have been enough to affect the election.
