Just send users to the mobile.twitter.com site.
Not a bad idea. We need more devices. Perhaps even cheaper devices with better specs. Time to kill Android and iOS. If someone can pull this off, has enough money and access to skills, it is Elon.
Can't kill something that's open source...

Just pull out a Nokia 3310 dude, insert SIM and enjoy. Android/iOS won't miss you :)

Nah, I'll wait for Elon and help kill Android and iOS.
Haha...until then you're contributing to their profits. That's not how it works when you think you're going to "stick it to the man".
Start now...show them how they're screwed without your R6500 you'd spend on an Android phone.

Give me a phone that doesn't do surveillance / data harvesting, and can make calls, sms, telegram, firefox and email.
All I want/need.

Bit of a molehill this, he didn't say it out front, it was in response to someone else and really just as a last resort.

Even these ones weren’t secure.

Perhaps, but they didn't have cameras and microphones constantly hoovering up everything you're up to even while you're not using it.
Some lady might have listened in to your conversation, but it wasn't converted speech to text into a giant searchable database inside a data center for the rest of your life.

Some bigwigs are clearly annoyed that Twitter is cracking down on child-porn.

You're asking the guy who arguably bought Twitter to data harvest, to create a phone that doesn't? Really now?:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

You really think this future company would not harvest your data? It's basically the most lucrative revenue stream of them all, unless all of the apps will have paid monthly subscriptions.

The only reason why companies making toasters and kettles do not do this is because no one wants that data . If someone was willing to pay to know how many times a day Joe bozo switches on their kettle, it will come with a sim, interlocked to the function.
