Musk vows to produce own smartphone if Apple and Google boot Twitter

Elon Musk has said he will produce his own smartphone if Apple and Google decide to remove Twitter from their app stores.

While the Twitter CEO said he hoped that would not be the case but added that he would not have a choice but to "make an alternative phone".

Perhaps, but they didn't have cameras and microphones constantly hoovering up everything you're up to even while you're not using it.
Some lady might have listened in to your conversation, but it wasn't converted speech to text into a giant searchable database inside a data center for the rest of your life.

You really think this future company would not harvest your data? It's basically the most lucrative revenue stream of them all, unless all of the apps will have paid monthly subscriptions.

The only reason why companies making toasters and kettles do not do this is because no one wants that data . If someone was willing to pay to know how many times a day Joe bozo switches on their kettle, it will come with a sim, interlocked to the function.
