the bellow pings were done from 128 mywi to two ip addreses one to a suckteck 256 and one to a ADSL link that is rate limited to 128kbs belive it or not the first ping is to the ADSL ...

what makes it more astounding is that both these IP's are on the same box and done after each other the box is set up to route all traffic coming in on ADSL back on ADSL so there is no split path scenario

the packet size was 512 bytes

I'm not quite understanding what you were trying to achieve by that test, its a known fact, that a mywi device linking to anything should have a high latency.
between 2 mywi modems, you're expected ping should be
((ping to 66.18.67.106)*2) + (roughly 15ms for routing within Sentech)

to reach another mywi modem, you must take into account, your latency, plus the other dudes, which makes life very miserable, try VOIP between 2 mywi's.
Perhaps one should ask Sentech about how they plan to rollout VOIP with their IPWIRELESS 'chips', come feb next year !!

Summation, ping between 2 mywi modems, should be approximately double mywi:ADSL

but it is far higher than double ...

the pings were to a customer who cant work with my wireless and has put ADSL in but kept the MyWi for balancing purposes ...

i also look at the dispertion and on the MyWi to ADSL it is not to bad but MyWi to MyWi it is bad worse than expected this is not a scientific analasis but makes for a nice flip chart ...

to show how sentech is not a viable solution for VOIP/VPN ...

it is sad but that is where the future is ... i do have hope it will be fixed after saturday but i want it now

My Bad, looking at it more closely, I didn't look at the avg column, Just the min (1st figure).
Hence why everything still seemed kosher, upon a closer look, I now see what you were questioning!!

haha, when I posted that statement about Sentechs VOIP network, I had no idea they had released the VOIP statement this afternoon!
