This ground (historical totals), the possibility of weather interfering and the Proteas desire for a win, I reckon they may take a punt at 450 - 475 if they're still there. But definitely at or around Tea.

I agree with both comments. The declaration before tea and the Aussies. Aussies are remarkable in their intent to win everything.

New ball will be key and how Piedt goes later...he has to stop the game for us if we can't take wickets.

There's nothing in this pitch if a batter can get past the first 15-20 minutes at the crease. Good line and length will be the order of the day.
