I see that Kagiso Rabada's average has gone below 27.00 with the wicket haul in this match. Even though it is early in his career, there is every reason to believe that he will improve on this in years to come. As it stands, he is quite a bit below Morkel.

Man of the match yes, can't give him man of the series as his side didn't win.

Where is it writted that this HAS to be the case? Law of probability says that the man of the series comes from the winning team, but in this case, neither the leading wicket taker nor leading run scorer comes from the winning side. So then what...

Rabada to Woakes, OUT, short outside off, Woakes throws the bat - gone! Another nick, another catch for de Kock, another wicket for Rabada, who has 11 now. England continuing to make an apple crumble of this
CR Woakes c †de Kock b Rabada 5 (14m 8b 1x4 0x6) SR: 62.50
#BatsMustFall ? Surely throwing your bat is a Fined offense ?
Havent seen the video as I'm listening on a "draadloos" and reading cricinfo .

We have the highest wicket taker and run scorer for this series, but that Broad spell at Wanderers took it away from us IMO.

It should go to the player who has had the most impact on the series, not necessarily the cricketer with the most wickets or runs.

It'll be sad to see this end so soon. Next test is only in August, against NZ in Durbs.

Its not a written rule but personally I would never give the man of the series award to someone from the losing side.
