Steyn and Vern injured and they wanted extra batting. Viljoen & Patterson are much better bowlers then Morris.
Nice to see England drop hash twice and amla once.

HD Ackerman is kinda annoying sometimes...there's something slightly obsequious in his delivery that comes across greasily over the air.
Atherton is excellent, Holding and Botham just a little behind. Our own Kepler is not too shabby either.
Some toking.:erm:

Bat once. Bat big. I have no problems with the scoring rate at present. We want to be able to declare at tea tomorrow.

Haven't watched much live, is the pitch as flat as the scores suggest?
I realise all of this. Its just incredibly frustrating because Morris is not Test Material IMO. Viljoen or Patterson should have got the nod...
We're one game behind. Irrespective of the score, we'll want to declare at tea time tomorrow.unlikely to have a lead by that point. Very unlikely we will score 430 ( the deficit) and then some to give us a sizeable lead to enable us to declare by tea tomorrow - that's only four sessions away.
Morris is not good enough, agreed. The selectors seem afraid to blood another out-and-out seamer while Morkel, Steyn, Philander are in the picture (apart from Rabada). We've had Abbott and now Morris...we should be working on having 4-5 seamers ready to go at the highest level instead of trying all-rounders who can't get into the side on the strength of their performance in one discipline.
Compare this to the Australian side who have 3 or 4 fast bowlers injured at the moment but can still field a decent attack ready to do the job.

Sure, I can agree with that but your initial statement of "bat once, bat big" is completely unrealistic...
