Anderson, I should mention, was given a second warning for following through on the pitch. One more and he's out for the rest of the innings
Deliberate...?

Some players are just that way. Some days they come of other days you tear your hair out because of shots like that. You just have to back them cause when they come of they will win you the game. Gillchrist,kp,sehwag, ect all got out to silly shots like these and their argument was always that's the way I play and it just wasn't my day.

guys I get it.
its freaking hot.
when hash lost his wicket faf decided a shower and aircon sounds better than anything else, so he decided to go out.
QDK came in, and was not fooled, but instead got hit by heatstroke, and now we will be sending england in to bat in today still. take 2 quick wickets, and by tea time tomorrow, AB and faf will come in to play t20 style to win the game.

Really hoping Bavuma takes this opportunity to settle some of the concerns around his spot in the team.

De Kock just wasted his. Morris I'm less concerned about as he's just a stop-gap measure.
Temba not very convincing so far...

Huh...they were usually over 100 when they did that :)...and always only when in winning position. Look at their averages and amount of runs scored

Only the one edge I've seen so far...be kind. He's been pretty solid...some nice shots and a decent scoring rate (much as I appreciated Hash and Faf, they really should have scored quicker).

Morris has looked every bit the tail end dasher.

Was not disputing their averages or runs, just saying their were days when their aggressive nature got them out early on. There are many examples of the english media calling kp selfish for getting out in that fashion early on.

In more recent example first test stokes tried to play the exact same way he did in this test got got out by top edge a hook shot trying to go for a shot way too early in his innings and also a reverse sweep too early in his innings. Played the same shots in this test but they came of.

He's looking better now that he's settled down.

Let's hope Morris doesn't lose his mind against the spinner! Keep it smart, lads...grind them down for another session or two.

Well, if they can stick around for another 20, this could get interesting.
