Maybe I'm being greedy, but 5 down before lunch would really have them on the rails :D

No player would admit it, but if you've ever played cricket then you would know that it's draining on the body to run around in that heat. They may be professional athletes but they're not superhuman, only AB is :D

Come on...its just cricket.

If a 58yo amateur can cycle 80km on a Saturday morning, spend the rest of day until 8pm landscaping backyard (wheelbarrows, concrete, blocks etc), up and down on a 37 deg humid Sydney day (19/09/15)---we can't pick 'boys' up at robots :), race an 85min half marathon the Sunday morning (already 30 deg by 8:30am), continue landscaping until 4pm on a 42 deg day, go to a late Sunday lunch, drink beer and go back to work on Monday....

....why can't 20 and 30yo's run around on a cricket field? Especially when they are paid to play and train, jump in ice baths, get waited on hand and foot.

mind you, though hot in CTN, 34 deg and dry wind is much less than 42 deg and 80% humidity

Just sayin..

What you guys think? Will SA chase 200-220 in 20 overs?

It will be a cracking end to the match if that scenario happens. We will have to bowl out England. Cook will not declare.

if we do bowl England expect we will atleast see if there is a chance to give it a go. Expect to see QDK promoted to open instead of van zyl if there is a chance of a chase.

But first we need 6 more wickets.

If it's around 170-180 in 40 overs then I reckon we'll go for it. At least I hope so...

Not getting my hopes up, doubt we'll be able to bowl them out so in my mind this is heading for a draw.

That being said I think a draw is a better result for us mentaly than it is for them.

Even if we can just bowl them out today, I'd take that. Would do a lot for the guys' confidence, and dent theirs...

+1.

If we do get England bowled out, we can't chase 200+

We need to restrict them to 170/180 and that will be difficult.
