That would be far more impressive if I knew how many books you had actually read :D

:D

I have read hundreds of books!! I can go (and I do this) and show people whole shelves in libraries that I have finished reading. but.... I only read Fantasy so unless you're into that genre I guess you could say I have spent my life reading crap :) (but I dont think so)

That explains it then :p

Speaking of military history and autobiographies I just finished 'Inside The Third Reich' by Albert Speer. Very good

Best autobiography you've ever read Alan?

Winston Churchill

Chill , I was asking a serious question.(J/K = Just Joking) I wish I had the time to read Military History books or in fact any books:(.(outside of studies of course)

hey, Pratchett Rox :D

My father in law is a big Winston fan, bought him CD's with all his speech's on for his B-day. He has a few biographies that I would love to read, but my taste in literature only changed to include other genres too, a few yrs ago and since kids I haven't had much time for reading.

I like modern history. Very interested in the nation of Israel in the 20th century at the moment. One book I'd recommend unhesitatingly wrg Lebanon/Palestinian late 20th century is From Beirut to Jerusalem by Thomas Friedman.

I like to read. I hate these long winded farts that people call serious literature and bores you to death.... and claims to be intellectual.

My latest attempt on the Afrikaans literature shelve was Andre P Brink. And all i got from it was that it was a poor tree that had to suffer for that shyte!!
