Any feedback on this printer will be appreciated.
Have a basic Canon ink jet for home use which started troubling recently.

Takealot seems to have them at a good price currently and ebucks deals so far underwhelming.

I've got the L3050. The one you mention I believe only lacks wifi, the rest is pretty much the same.
Awesome printer, the ink it comes with really will last you years...nothing negative to say about the ecotanks

I have 2 Epson Echotanks at home.

Works great, ink last forever and cheap to buy.

I am looking at getting one. I just wanted to ask,
1. I had problems that my canon would sit say for month or 3 and the ink would run out of the pipes back to the tanks and it would net to do a reset to pull ink and that uses like half of the tank.

2. The canon needs to go to a canon center to get the waste ink counter reset even if I can replace it. ( its just some sponges that absorb the ink. I read that with the epson you can do this in its tools?

Just press a button on the printer and it's reabsorbs more ink after no use

Please let me know if you spot a deal.
As pointed out by wtg, Wi-Fi is definitely a factor to consider.

I bought an Epson L386. It's fine for its cheap ink and text printing, but image printing is completely washed out and low-res. My budget Canon printer whips the Epson's ass. So yeah, if you just wanna print documents, go for it. But if you wanna print photos or presentations, I'd avoid.
