ERP Consultant – Financial Focus (FMCG) Location: Rivonia, Johannesburg,
The support organization is focused on customer satisfaction and comprised of highly skilled and well-motivated Support Analysts. This position (ERP) Consultant will be a part of the services delivery team, with expectations around excellence and efficient resolution for application configuration, documentation, client liaison and support.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Degree with Accounting focus Minimum 5 years’ experience as ERP Consultant in the FMCG sales and distribution sector.
Experience in a Non-Corporate – Environment.
Prior experience prioritizing and managing business-critical issues.
Skills:
FMCG with financial focus
Retail and distribution industry software experience (FMCG)
Project Management Experience.
Accounts Receivable/Payable o General Ledger/Statements and Reports
Credit Card Processing/POS and Cash Office Functionality o Customer Management (CRM)
Tax Management o Knowledge of best practices for month-end and/or year-end closing reconciliations
Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) in the FMCG space.
Data Warehouse exposure. (DW-BI)
Retail and/or distribution business process flow, knowledge and experience
Microsoft Products, Linux System Administration, MS-SQL, Installation, Printing, Crystal Reports, additional technical knowledge of network environments and/or operating systems will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
Primary job function is to provide ERP Consultancy by phone/email/Web/on-site:
Responsible for documenting the replication path of software issues and using knowledge base systems.
Self-starter abilities are essential and the aptitude to work independently and in a team environment.
Acts as a liaison between client and specialist internal resources.
Attends on-going training sessions to ensure a higher level of technical and application knowledge.
Excellent client liaison and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to troubleshoot retail and distribution concepts in a software system.
Experience troubleshooting software issues via telephone and use of remote support access to provide a resolution to the end user.
Respond immediately to client calls in a professional manner, providing appropriate solutions
Ensuring Service Quality levels are maintained and adhered to
Ensuring all matters are handled in a timely manner.
Reviewing outstanding matters, complete appropriate hand-off in conjunction with SLAs
Ability to complete projects timeously.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Requires proficiency with PC software applications, e-mail and job-associated applications/systems to expediently process tasks.
Permanently reside within 25 Km of Rivonia, Sandton.
Possess own reliable transport of good health and sober habits.
This position will be focused on incident management and business process engineering resolution for retail and distribution industry businesses located primarily in Africa, but expanding globally. Travel in the continent is a requirement.
